St. Jude students compete in Lego League challenge

St. Jude School's FLL Roboteers competed in the First Lego League Qualifying Tournament at Magic Mountain last month.

The team was one of the top half of teams and qualified for the Southern California FLL Championship Tournament on Dec. 6 at Legoland.

The team has researched and created a skit comparing the increase of West Nile Virus due to climate change.

The students are also perfecting their robot, Sparky, to accomplish as many tasks as possible on the Climate Connection Robotic Challenge.
