Old Agoura's fight continues

A friend of mine was told about Old Agoura's plight of having our area and lifestyle changed forever by a project, the Heschel school, which was forced upon Old Agoura by the Los Angeles Board of Supervisors.

My friend came to visit and we showed her our beautiful equestrian park for all the equestrians in Old Agoura and surrounding areas. We also showed her our rural and safe neighborhood, trails and Chesebro Park. She saw the stars at night because we have no street lights to block them out. She noticed how quiet and peaceful our neighborhood is.

After three days she became impatient and wanted to know why we didn't show her the site where the Heschel school was to be built and why didn't we show her the site first. And we told her, "Before you can fight you have to know what you are fighting for."

Wake up, Old Agoura, and fight for what we now have before you lose it to an inappropriate development for that piece of property. Carol Foster Agoura
