These crooks got caught
      I want to thank Deputies Robert Kazmirski, John Manwell, Scott Rule and Richard Baldi for their outstanding work apprehending the thieves that stole the baseball equipment from Agoura High School. They really impressed me how fast they caught the guys and some of the students even had their equipment returned to them.

School is not all that it seems
      The letter to The Acorn written by Louis Masry regarding the Heschel school project was not truthful. How can Heschel school bring more business to Agoura? The students who attend the school come from three different counties.

Fight not over
      Like Hercules who was ordered to clean the Augean stables of the gods, Heschel backers have to meet almost insurmountable conditions before their school can be built and I am writing to make sure that you are aware of it.

Old Agoura's fight continues
      A friend of mine was told about Old Agoura's plight of having our area and lifestyle changed forever by a project, the Heschel school, which was forced upon Old Agoura by the Los Angeles Board of Supervisors. My friend came to visit and we showed her our beautiful equestrian park for all the equestrians in Old Agoura and surrounding areas.

Justice for Brandon Hein
      Thirteen years ago Jimmy Farris lost his life in a backyard brawl in Agoura Hills during a teenage confrontation over marijuana. Brandon Hein took part in the fight, and so did several other boys, including Jason Holland, who admitted to stabbing young Farris during the struggle.

Victim ignored
      Your Nov. 20 editorial was offensive, repugnant and insensitive. If your own son and only child was taken from you, would you be so forgiving towards the accomplices involved? The parental whining and hand-wringing related to crimes committed by well-to-do local youth in this area is similarly repellent.
