At the Library

•A Holiday Tea Party will be 2 p.m. Sat., Dec. 13. Nicole Tibbetts will present "The Mad Hatter Comes Back." Winners of the Agoura Hills Library Bookmark Contest will receive awards. Bring donations for food banks.

• A Star Wars: The Force Unleashed tournament will be held from 1:30 to 4 p.m. Sat., Dec. 13. Registration begins at 1 p.m. Prizes will be given for first, second and third place. Competitors may bring their own controllers. Teen Friends of the Library will sell snacks. Bring donations for local food banks.

•A free book-by-mail service is offered to residents who are homebound, in convalescent homes and rural dwellers in the Los Angeles County Public Library service area. Participants must have a COLAPL card. For information, call (661) 948-2410 or visit www.coalpublib.org.

•The Friends of the Library display case features watercolor paintings by Friends volunteer Carol Kruvant Pullman. She is a member of the Valley Artists Guild and received "Best in Show" at the guild's juried show at Viva Gallery.

•The Book Cellar is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. every Saturday in the library's basement. Books for children and adults, books on tape, CDs, DVDs, VHS tapes and magazines are available. Hardcover books start at $1.
