Enjoy Paraiso shopping

The Paraiso shoping center at Dos Vientos Ranch will host two Winter Wonderland holiday events at the ranch, 360 Via Las Brisas, Newbury Park. Paraiso's second annual open house will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sat., Dec. 6. The event will include horsedrawn carriage rides, face painting, visits with Santa, carolers and a snow play area. The Sycamore Canyon Marching Band will escort Santa on a horse-drawn carriage at noon.

A "Polar Express" Movie Night will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Sat., Dec. 13. The event will include train rides, face painting and holiday cookie decorating and a screening of the film.
