PETCO to open second store in T.O.

PETCO will be a new anchor tenant at the North Ranch Mall in Thousand Oaks.

The new store is adjacent to Trader Joe's and is expected to have its grand opening in the middle of December.

Michael Schiff of NAI Capital's Westlake Village office represented North Ranch Properties in a long-term lease of the 11,900-square-foot space for the pet retailer. The lease is valued at more than $4 million.

Other anchor stores in the shopping center at 3835 E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard are Ralphs and Rite Aid.

PETCO has an existing store less than six miles away at 140 W. Hillcrest Drive in Thousand Oaks.
