Heschel school finally prevails

Congratulations to all of the supporters of Heschel school for winning their long fought battle against the city of Agoura Hills and the residents of Old Agoura.

Unfortunately the city fought the school like they have fought our business community for the past 25 years, but through hard work and dedication from the Heschel supporters, the school is going to become a reality.

Heschel school will bring more businesses to Agoura Hills and increase our property values at a time when we really need it. I am so proud of our business community and virtually all of our residents (except for some of those that live in Old Agoura) for standing up for what will be a top private school in our region right here in our own town.

On behalf of the Chamber of Commerce I would like to personally express thanks to all of the members of the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors and their staff for seeing through some of the unfounded criticisms and threats of lawsuits by both the city of Agoura Hills and some Old Agoura residents by approving the school solely on the top notch plan that they presented.
