SWEETHEARTS—John Melendez and Ming Na will play Danny and Sandy in "Grease" at 8 p.m. Fri. and Sat., Dec. 5 and 6 at Class Act Theater, 5345 Wilhelmina Ave., Woodland Hills. Calabasas residents John Melendez and Ming Na will headline in a starstudded production of the musical "Grease" at 8 p.m. Fri. and Sat., Dec. 5 and 6 at the Class Act Theater, 5345 Wilhelmina Ave., Woodland Hills.

Melendez, of "The Tonight Show," stars as head of the Tbirds Danny Zucko. Na, best known for her role in TV's "ER," will star as Sandy.

Also joining the cast are KYSR's radio disc jocky Lisa Fox as Rizzo, and Ross "The Intern" Matthews of the Tonight Show making a guest appearance as the Teen Angel.

The show is directed and produced by Suzanna Melendez and Denise Fennell. Melendez and Fennell are best known for their off-Broadway hit, "Birdy's Bachelorette Party".

The cast and crew are donating their time for this benefit event to raise money for Class Act PALS (Performing Arts Learning Sensation), a nonprofit organization established in 2007 by Class Act Musical Theatre directors Yariv Sponko and Amy London in Woodland Hills.

All monies raised by PALS provide scholarships to those children with financial restrictions, who would not otherwise be granted the opportunity to participate in a theater program.

"Grease" tickets are a tax deductible donation of $100.
