Girl Scout organizes dance and magic show
Event benefits Adopt-a-Family holiday program
Katelyn Smith will present her Girl Scout Gold Award project "Dance the Night Away and Be Amazed," a fiesta dance and magic show benefiting the AdoptAFamily Holiday Basket Program from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Sat., Nov. 22 at St. Jude's Catholic Community Church, 32032 W. Lindero Canyon Road, Westlake Village. Guests are asked to bring new and unwrapped items to donate to the baskets. Donation suggestions are toys, clothes and games for children; books, clothes, sports equipment and games for teenagers, and gift cards to stores such as Target or WalMart for adults. A variety of items for all age groups are needed. The event will feature Latin band Ritmo Montuno and magician Peter Morse. Refreshments will be served.
