School online survey brings mixed response
Small sampling provides 'insight'
      The Las Virgenes Unified School District fell short of achieving a significant sampling when it conducted a recent survey of parents regarding schools, but the results of the online poll did reveal some interesting results, according to information presented at the district's board of education meeting last month.

Agoura High club to remember Sudan victims
      Agoura High School's End World Wide Genocide Club will host a candlelighting ceremony from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Tues., Nov. 18 in the school's main quad, 38545 Driver Ave. The service will be in memory of those who have died in the civil wars in Sudan for the last 20 years.
