Platt Library hosts lectures in November

The Friends of the Platt Library has announced its upcoming events. Unless otherwise noted, all events will be held at the library, 23600 Victory Blvd., Woodland Hills.

•LA Opera Talk's "Wagner's Women and Freud" will be held at 6:45 p.m. Tues., Nov. 18. Wagner's representation of women, Freudian psychology and Freud's view of women will be discussed.

•"The Last Days of the Dinosaurs" will be held at 4 p.m. Thurs., Nov. 20. Richard Wade will present how dinosaurs lived and died, the sounds they made, how fossils are made, a full-scale model of a Tyrannosaurus skull and a 7-foot Brachiosaurus thigh bone. The event is free, but reservations are required.
