A Veterans Day salute

MILITARY HONORED—A.E. Wright Middle School students address the crowd at an assembly last week to honor veterans. The assembly was led by the school's social studies teacher, Art Borgquist, a Vietnam veteran and member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7799. The program including patriotic songs and war stories, as well as the ringing of a 21-bell salute and the playing of Taps. VFW guards posted the colors.
