Bunco night to benefit OPHS

Fundraiser is Nov. 13

The Oak Park High School Parent-Faculty Club is hosting its fourth Ladies' Bunco Night at 7 p.m. Thurs., Nov. 13 in the school's pavilion. Prizes donated by local businesses will be awarded, and a variety of desserts will be served.

The event, which is open to the public, is a fundraiser for the school. In the past, the ParentFaculty Club has used the proceeds to buy faculty and staff requests, including magazines and tapes for the foreign language program, new overhead projectors, textbooks for the English department and floor mats for physical education.

"It's been great to have a moms-only evening where we could meet new people along with having fun, eating some great desserts and winning wonderful prizes," said club President Gloria Morl.

Prizes include baskets of Hannah Montana merchandise and JAKKS Pacific items, jewelry, and spa and hair treatments. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door.
