      Agoura Hills Thieves stole a pair of $450 reading glasses, a $200 camera, a $150 cellphone, $60 in cash and some car keys from a home in the 5500 block of Colodny Drive Oct. 25. Vandals caused $150 in damages by spray-painting a wall at the Old Agoura Park on Cheseboro Road Oct. 24.

Change in Ventura County police patrol

      A new police captain has been assigned to oversee patrol services in Ventura County's unincorporated areas, including Oak Park, Lake Sherwood, Hidden Valley, Lynn Ranch, Bell Canyon and parts of Newbury Park. Capt. Bill Flannigan and Capt. Brent Kerr of the Ventura County Sheriff's Department are switching jobs.
