WESTLAKE VILLAGE, CA.

Our loving father passed away in a peaceful sleep during the early morning hours of October 29, 2008. He left our world to join his devoted wife Anna of 64 years who recently passed away on 04-15-2008. He also joins his daughter Annamarie who also recently passed away on 04-01-2008.

William is survived by his children: William L. Talunas [son], Joy and John Andersen [daughter and son-in-law], Christine Rundle [daughter] and Moe and JB Brett [daughter and son-in law]

Grandchildren: Summer and Tony Yim, Christopher, Jill and John Manelski, Brooke, Wesley and Chelsea Rundle, Ginger and Greg Gallup. Great Grandchildren: Mathew, Jordan, Camille and Savanna.

Williams passions in his great life is his devoted Navy career as a PB2Y Pilot, his rewarding career with the FAA, and notable as a Commercial Airline Chief Pilot for Aloha Airlines. Recently he was acknowledged in a book Wings of Paradise, authored by Pete Forman.

William was truly loved and respected by all who knew him. His great love for his Catholic faith, flying, deep sea fishing, card games at the ELKS and DAV, and the quality time with his family is the foundation of his success in life.
