Keep up the good work

With extreme pleasure and no surprise the Oak Park Unified School District came in first in the API scores for Ventura County and I send my sincere compliments to the entire district.

Our schools work hard to achieve honors and in many, many cases they do achieve honors.

The accomplishment of the top API scores in Ventura County is a compliment to the teaching staff, administrators, volunteers and, of course, to the students.

My late husband would surely be pleased with the ongoing successes of our district and would further compliment Las Virgenes Unified School District as well for their high achievements. Bob was a sincere believer of public school education, having served on the OPUSD board of education from 1989 to 2002 and I concur with his beliefs.

To both school districts, continue doing what you are doing. It surly works. Eileen Kahn Oak Park
