      A fundraiser to create a residential care home will be held at 7 p.m. Fri., Nov. 14 at North Ranch Center, 1400 N. Westlake Blvd., Westlake Village. "Our Community House of Hope" will be a residential care home for terminally ill patientsi nthelastthree months of life.

Drive through for flu shots
      A drive-through flu clinic will be offered from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sat., Nov. 8 at the Los Robles Westlake Campus, 4415 S. Lakeview Canyon Road, Westlake Village. The event is sponsored by Los Robles Hospital and Medical Center. Attendees will be able to receive a flu shot without parking their car.

Depression support group
      Dr. Luisa Johnson, a clinical psychologist in Westlake Village, will speak at a Nov. 17 meeting of the Conejo Valley Depression Support Group. Johnson is exploring the role that neurotransmitter and hormone levels should play in psychotherapy services.
