Upcoming fundraisers to benefit Pat Tillman Foundation

Two events are scheduled to benefit the Pat Tillman Foundation, which strives to inspire and educate young people working to make a positive change in themselves and the world around them.

•A comedy and rock and roll concert will take place from 6 to 11 p.m. Sun., Nov. 16 at The Canyon club, 28912 Roadside Drive, Agoura Hills.

Robby Krieger of The Doors, Alice Cooper and other musicians will perform.

The event also includes hors d'oeuvres, a live auction and a comedy show.

•The Scott Medlock Invitational Golf Classic is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mon., Nov. 17 at the Malibu Country Club, 901 Encinal Canyon Road, Malibu.

Check in and putting contest is at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start at 10 a.m., hosted cocktails at 3:30 p.m. and hors d'oeuvres reception and recognition of team, contest and raffle winners at 4:30 p.m.

Golfers receive a continental breakfast, golf cart, on course contests, gift bag, driving range balls, lunch on course, cocktails and hors d'oeuvres at awards reception.
