Jewish Academy offers variety of adult classes

The Conejo Jewish Academy offers a variety of adult classes for fall semester at 30345 Canwood St., Agoura Hills.

•"The Chosen People" is a three-week course that examines the biblical sources which claim the Jewish people to be a chosen nation and seeks to clarify "chosen." The course meets at 8 p.m. starting Wed., Nov. 5. Rabbi Moshe Bryski is the instructor and the fee is $18.

•"Talmudic Ethics' is a sixweek course that examines controversial issues and seeks guidance from Talmudic sources. The course meets at 8 p.m. starting Thurs., Nov. 6. Rabbi Shlomo Bistritzky is the instructor and the $65 fee includes textbook and material.

•"Beginners Hebrew" will take place at 8 p.m. Tuesdays starting Nov. 11. Tovi Bistritzky is the instructor and the fee is $18.

•"Soul Maps-GPS for your soul" is a six-week course on the Kabbalistic understanding of how to navigate the inner world and find self-actualization. The course meets at 8 p.m. starting on Tues., Nov. 11. Rabbi Yisroel Levine is the instructor. The fee of $65 includes textbook and materials.
