      Two months later and just a few miles from the place where an $11-million dollar SuperLOTTO Plus ticket was purchased, the California Lottery has struck again. This time, someone who purchased a Fantasy 5 ticket in Agoura Hills hit a prize of $186,389.

Brownley seeks reelection to state Assembly
      Assemblymember Julia Brownley (D-Woodland Hills) will be challenged in the 41st District in the Nov. 4 election by Republican Mark Bernsley, an attorney and business consultant in Woodland Hills. Locally, the 41st includes Agoura Hills, Westlake Village, Oak Park and Calabasas.

Sending help to faraway neighbors
      MUDDY WATERS— Children in Gasi Springs, Ethiopia, gather water from the area's mud hole, formerly the only source of water for the small village. With the help of Brookside Elementary School students and their families, who donated $1,405 to the Charity: Water organization, the toxic mud hole is now gone, replaced by clean, safe drinking water.
