Musical evening of prayer at Epiphany

The Church of the Epiphany will observe All Saints' Sunday with Evensong, a musical evening prayer service, followed by a free chamber music recital at 5 p.m. Sun., Nov. 2 at the church, 5450 Churchwood Drive, Oak Park.

The Epiphany parish choir will lead the musical service.

The Elixir Piano Trio will perform "Trio in B-Flat" by Franz Schubert.

The trio was the winner of the Most Distinguished Musician Award at the 2005 IBLA International Competition in Italy.

Trio members are Lucy Nargizyan on piano, Samvel Chilingarian on violin, and Garik Terzian on cello.

A reception will follow the recital and the audience can meet the performers.

Admission is free but a freewill offering will be accepted.

This event is part of the 2008-2009 season for "Music at The Church of the Epiphany," an annual series of recitals, concerts and choral services.
