No on Measure R

We have been homeowners in Oak Park for 20 years and already pay $6,000 a year in property taxes. School administrators tell us we need students who do not live in Oak Park and do not pay for their education because it brings in millions of dollars in state funds.

The state is broke. We should not be dependent on state money or assume those funds will be available in the future.

Our kids did just fine at Oak Park High School without an air conditioned gym. It's time we learn to live within our means. We can't have what we can't afford.
