Karate studio offers tips for safe trick or treating

The T.O. Westlake Karate Studio will host a free Halloween Safety Tips party for the community, particularly children and their parents, from 5 to 8 p.m. Fri., Oct. 17 at 5700 Corsa Avenue, Ste. 111, Westlake Village.

The event is for those who are interested in learning how to have a safe and fun Halloween.

The party will include safety talks, Halloween games, and free refreshments.

The studio will also present on a free open house to celebrate its sevenyear anniversary on Corsa Avenue from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sat., Oct. 25.

The theme of this event is "Stranger Danger." Activities include lessons and advice from police officers, basic selfdefense practice with the studio's black belt instructors, and activities for younger children such as a moon bounce and games.
