Thousand Oaks Lancers (4-0) at Agoura Chargers (3-1) Friday, 7 p.m.
      Two teams with tons of momentum will face off Friday night when the Thousand Oaks High Lancers travel to Agoura to take on the Chargers. Agoura is fresh off its first win over Westlake since 1995.

      See, folks, sometimes dreams do come true. Before last weekend's football game between Agoura and Westlake high schools at AHS, Charger senior lineman D.J. Bancroft dreamt that his squad would win in dramatic fashion, that Westlake, which had beaten Agoura every year since 1996, would miss a game-winning kick.

      If Agoura High junior water polo player P.J. Iannone had a nickname, it might as well be Aquaman. "I'm not that coordinated on land," Iannone said with a laugh. "Growing up, I tried to play basketball, baseball and soccer, but I just wasn't very good at all. I'm not that gifted out of the water.

Goosen to lead CHS girls' hoops team
      There's a new coach in charge of the Calabasas High girls' basketball squad. David Goosen, who previously coached the boys' teams at Venice, Burbank and Reseda high schools, was hired last week. He replaces Don Cusick.
