Reelect Ron Stark

It's election time again on Nov. 4 and as always the Khans heartily support Ron Stark for reelection.

When the Khan family moved to Oak Park in 1976, the Stark family was among our first new friends. Right from the start we learned that Ron was a "doer" and he never stops. With Ron's experience in administration and engineering, he was able to aid many people in the district.

Having served on the Triunfo board since 1980, he continues to share his knowledge and background and will continue to serve as a valuable member. We need Ron's expertise now more than ever.

Briefly, Ron has been an avid community server in Oak Park for 40 years. He served as senior aid to former supervisor Frank Schillo. He is very knowledgeable in his support for various items. He has been on the Triunfo Sanitation District Board for 24 years and has served on the MAC for Oak Park for 30 years. He has served on the Oak Park Civic Association and was the original founder and chairperson of the Park Advisory Committee.

He worked with the founders of the Oak Park Unified School District. He was instrumental in building the Oak Park Library and soliciting large donations to further along this important addition to Oak Park and more positive contributions of his time.

Ron is supportive of all grand jury suggestions where practical and supports non-increase of the residents' monthly water bills and sanitation fees.

His awards include PTA Honorary Service Award, Oak Park Acorn Award, Community Service Award presented by the Oak Park/Agoura/Las Virgenes Chamber of Commerce, Volunteer Service Award from the Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District just to name a few.

The Kahn family is grateful for all that Ron has done and will continue to do for our community. Ron has a motto, "Keep him working for you." Ron is always working for you.

Don't forget to vote Tues., Nov. 4. Polls open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Eileen Kahn Oak Park
