Speakers to discuss alternatives to violence

The Ventura County Interfaith Community will sponsor a Victory Over Violence exhibit at 7 p.m. Wed., Oct. 22 at the United Methodist Church of Westlake Village, 1049 S. Westlake Blvd.

The event will include a demonstration of the Alternatives to Violence Project.

Guest speakers are Pat Hardy, state director of the Alternatives to Violence project of California, and Stephen Pope, UC Santa Barbara professor.

Capt. Randy Pentis and Sgt. Don Aguilar will represent the Thousand Oaks Police Department.

Admission is free.

Refreshments will be served.
