Westlake Auto Show gets in gear on Oct. 5

The 23rd annual Westlake Village Auto Show will be held at 10 a.m. Sun., Oct. 5 in the Countrywide Financial Corporation parking lot, 31303 Agoura Road, Westlake Village.

Placement of cars will begin at 7 a.m. The show opens at 10 a.m., with an awards presentation at 2:30 p.m.

Admission is free and open to the public.

Cars in the show include classic cars, sports cars, American coupes-convertibles, trucks and SUVs, limited production luxury, muscle cars, sports compacts, street rods and customs, exotics, panteras, vipers, prowlers, cobras, special interest, Volkswagen aircooled and custom motorcycles.

First- and second-place awards will be given in each classification, including Best of Show, Ladies' Choice, Club Participation and Custom Motorcycles.

The event will also feature vendor booths, music by The Coveralls and The Flashbacks, performances by a stuntman from "The Dukes of Hazzard," food and refreshment vendors and a raffle.
