Doesn't it bug you when . . .

We're fed up, we've had enough, and we just can't take it anymore. But we don't know what to do about it, either . . . except complain.

Time again for another installment of The Acorn's "Doesn't it bug you when?"

Ours is a mostly troublefree community, all things considered, so we're not complaining about anything major here, just a few of life's annoying little moments.

Here's this week's list of favorite frustrations:

Doesn't it bug you when you buy an ingredient for a special recipe and by the time you get around to making it, that ingredient has already expired?

Doesn't it bug you when you buy a new plant for your house and the poor thing wilts within a week?

Doesn't it bug you when your financial adviser tells you to "be diversified," and everything goes in the tank anyway? . . . When you sell low and buy high?

Doesn't it bug you when the driver in the next lane still has a cellphone to his ear? . . .When the 10-year-old kid standing next to you has a $300 iPhone and your phone is bigger than a brick?

Doesn't it bug you when go to the movies and the tallest couple on the planet sits down right in front of you? . . .When the teenagers behind you won't shut up?

Doesn't it bug you when you clean out the vacuum bristles and find enough hair to make a full wig? . . .When you turn on the garbage disposal and hear a spoon grinding away?

Doesn't it bug you when you take your car to get that annoying rattle checked, and as soon as you arrive the noise mysteriously disappears? . . .When you try to start your car after the ignition is already on?

Doesn't it bug when you fill out a long form online and your connection cuts out before you have a chance to send it?

Doesn't it bug you when you go to the box of crackers and there's only one left?
