Conejo Valley Audubon Society hosts presentation, sightings

•Thelma Williams will lead a group to Malibu Lagoon on Sat., Oct. 4. Meet at the Rancho Road Park-and-Ride to carpool at 8 a.m. or at the Malibu Lagoon parking lot at 8:30 a.m. Expected sightings include shorebirds, herons, gulls, and marsh birds. For information, call Williams at (805) 492-2796.

•Larry Arbanas will present California and Western Birds in Motion at 7:30 p.m. Mon., Oct. 6 at the Western Foundation for Vertebrate Zoology, 439 Calle San Pablo, Camarillo. •Tom Halpin will lead a group to Canada Larga Road on Sun., Oct. 12. Meet at the start of the road after the exit from Highway 33 at 8 a.m. Bring water and lunch.
