Announce your event in The Acorn

The Acorn invites community members to submit brief blurbs for free inclusion in our weekly Datebook calendar.

Datebook lists local events that are free of charge to the public or require a minimal fee. Items we welcome include club meeting notices, garage sales which benefit a worthy cause, service club activities, library events, nonprofit theatrical productions, nature walks, festivals, holiday events, and school-related fundraisers.

Listings must be typewritten and include event, date, time, address, fee, if any, and a phone number for readers to call for details.

Send to the Datebook Editor at the address on page 4A at least two weeks prior to the event date.

Datebook is not the appropriate venue for health or faith-related announcements such as blood drives or religious services.
