Raiman Rocks ready to roll

Master gemologist Galli Raiman has teamed with local entrepreneur Yosef Rosen in the formation of a new diamond concierge service in Calabasas called Raiman Rocks.

Unlike a regular jewelry store which stocks a perpetual inventory, Raiman Rocks buys and sells investment grade diamonds based solely on the request of its customers.

According to the company's business plan, a high net worth buyer would arrange a consultation at 23622 Calabasas Road in Old Town Calabasas, and within 24 hours some of the world's finest diamonds would be available for review and selection.

"Raiman Rocks investment grade diamonds represent a highly elite class of diamonds that has not gone down in value for over 25 years," Rosen said.

An invitationonly grand opening party was held on Sept. 19. The event showcased more than $5 million worth of fine diamonds in sizes ranging from three to 10 carats.

"It also doesn't hurt that these investments can be worn and enjoyed while they appreciate," Rosen said.

Raiman Rocks is a member of the American Gem Society and Diamond Club West Coast. All of the company's diamonds are obtained from non-conflict sources.
