Annual Wag 'N Walk Benefit For Animals

Sharon Staples, realtor with Rodeo Realty's Simi Valley branch, will sponsor and participate in Wag 'N Walk on Sat., Sept. 27th. All funds raised from the Wag 'N Walk, will benefit homeless animals in the community.

For the second year running, Staples, her husband and their two dogs, Missy and Maui, will head up "Team Staples" in their efforts to raise money for the event. For every client who buys or sells through Staples, she will make a $250 donation to the Animal Rescue Volunteers (ARV).

Similar to other charity walks, the Wag 'N Walk invites animal lovers and their canine companions on a three-mile walk to help raise much needed funds to benefit ARV and their lifesaving animal rescue programs. The walk starts at Rancho Simi Community Park and continues through the surrounding areas. There will be complimentary breakfast from The Secret Garden Restaurant, an opening ceremony, dog costume contest, silent auction and dog adoption. Prizes will be awarded to the first, second and third place top fundraisers.

The Wag 'N Walk benefits Animal Rescue Volunteers, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the rehabilitation and placement of homeless and abused pets in Simi Valley and surrounding areas.
