      LIKE A SPEEDING BULLET— George Poteet's Speed Demon is among the world's fastest car and motorcycle streamliners. The vehicle will participate in an international land speed competition on Sat. and Sun., Sept. 20 and 21 in Bonneville Flats. The exotic cars were on display last week at World Class Motoring in Agoura Hills.

      UNDER THE HOOD— Frank Bednarik of Chatsworth admires the engine of a 1954 Mustang during the Mustang Car Show at The Commons shopping center in Calabasas last Saturday. The show, hosted by the Mustang Owners Club of California and sponsorerd by Vista Ford, showcased vintage as well as current models of the classic American muscle car.
