NAACP Saturday school to begin

The NAACP Saturday School will begin fall semester registration from 10 a.m. to noon Sat., Sept. 27 in Peters Hall, room 101, at California Lutheran University, 60 W. Olsen Road, Thousand Oaks.

The semester begins on Oct. 4 and ends with a graduation and Kwanzaa celebration on Dec. 6.

The NAACP Saturday School offers cultural and academic enrichment classes to students in grades kindergarten through 12. Classes include science, math, African American studies, communications, reading comprehension, foreign language, SAT preparation and computer/technology awareness.

Donations are requested at $30 for the first child, $15 for each additional child and $5 supply fee per child.
