Oak Park crimes continue

The Ventura County Sheriff's Department reports the recent rash of car burglaries in Oak Park is continuing.

Vehicle break-ins occurred on the following dates and places: on Aug. 30 or 31 in the 400 block of Savona Way (three incidents); on Aug. 30 or 31 in the 4800 block of Aliano Drive (window smashed); on Aug. 30 or 31 in the 200 block of Valero Circle; on Aug. 31 in the 100 block of St. Thomas Drive (window broken); on Aug. 30 or 31 in the 400 block of Messina Way (two incidents); on Aug. 30 or 31 in the 4800 block of Wiggin Street; on Aug. 30 or 31 in the 4900 block of Carthage Way (two incidents); between Aug. 30 and Sept. 2 at Rockfield Street and Tuscany Drive.

Also, a car was stolen from a resident's garage between Aug. 28 and 30 in the first block of N. Kanan Road.

Eighteen car burglaries were reported previously between Aug. 20 and Aug. 27.
