Church to host fall kickoff with picnic, concert

Christian Church of the Hills will host its fall kickoff on Sun., Sept. 14 at the church, 29295 Agoura Road, Agoura Hills.

The five-member Pearce Family Bluegrass Band of Santa Clarita will give a mini-concert during the 9:30 a.m. worship service. Pastor Dave Cruse will begin a message series on "Nurturing Healthy Families."

A bringyourown lunch picnic will follow from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Oak Canyon Park, 5600 Hollytree Drive, Oak Park. The church will provide beverages, ice cream and games. Attendees should bring lawn seating.
