Outside influence

While Glen Wilcox continues to paint children as "freeloaders," he fails to recognize that he is also unwilling to "buy the cow."

Glen Wilcox does not wish to "buy the cow," according to Elvis, but rather "get the milk through the fence," because he doesn't want to pay to maintain our schools, which maintains property values and Oak Park's desirable reputation.

When we fail to support our school district we fail to support the whole community.

Answer me this, Mr. Wilcox, the next time there is a tax proposal to maintain our fire stations and the equipment that services our community are you going to fight that too? Because, as you know, they are often called to assist other "freeloader" communities when wild fires break out. And according to you, we can't have that. Wickham Irwin Oak Park
