Rotary Penny Party planned

The Calabasas Rotary Club invites the public to the inaugural Penny Party from 2 to 5 p.m. Sun., Sept. 7 at the Agoura Hills/Calabasas Community Center, 27040 Malibu Hills Road, Calabasas.

The Penny Party is a raffle event where patrons have the opportunity to win a number of prizes. Raffle tickets cost from one penny to one dollar each and are purchased during the event. There is no limit as to how many times a person can enter to win or how many prizes they can win.

There is a $1 entrance fee. Light snacks, water and soft drinks will be for sale.

All proceeds from the event support the Rotary Club's mission to provide humanitarian services to the local community and around the world.
