Celebrating strong school spirit

CHEERS—Members of the J.V. and Varsity Oak Park Cheer Squads pose with a U.S. Spiritleader staff member after attending a four-day camp held at SOKA University. The camp emphasized advanced skills in tumbling, stunting, pyramid building and dancing. The Eagles brough home the Spirit Award, Team Banner and a Superior trophy for their accomplishments. J.V. members are Jordan Abbott, Savannah Bathke, Jessica Doctor, Aja Erickson, Jasmine Khorsandi, Karen Leparulo, Sydney Lewis, Sami Puryear, MaKena Schwartz, Rebecka Thorsen, Danielle Townsley, Alex Wilde, Amanda Weise and Erin Witt. Varsity members are Alyssa Barglowski, Lauren Barglowski, Jenn Greene, Lindsay Greene, Kelsey Gurnick, Katie Henggeler, Aubrey Jones, Madison Kubik, Alex Lane, Charlotte Neff, Paige Ramer, Aleisha Ravsten and Emily White.
