Burglars target Oak Park The Ventura County Sheriff's Department says numerous vehicles were broken into last week on the following streets in Oak Park: Smoketree Avenue, Buttonwood Avenue, Tamarind Street, Bayberry Street and Maplegrove Street. Two vehicles were also stolen in front of a home in the 6300 block of Smoketree Avenue. The sheriff's department reminds residents to: •Always lock vehicles and residence. •Never leave valuables in a vehicle. •Don't leave the keys to a vehicle or residence inside the vehicle. •Don't leave unsecured items in the bed of a truck. |
