Some good grub

We'd like to take this opportunity to write to you about the Zaca Mesa Wine Dinner we had at Hampton's Restaurant at the Westlake Four Seasons Hotel on July 31.

We wanted to let you know that we thoroughly enjoyed the entire evening. The setting was beautiful, elegant yet comfortable. The food was superb. Each course was a pictureperfect presentation. As we tasted each course, there was such a taste explosion of freshness and flavors—it was entertainment for our palate. We would like to compliment the chef for this as well as the pairing with the wine.

Most of all, we truly appreciated the excellent service and courtesy we received from Thomas Humphrey, the manager; our waiter Nick; and the rest of the staff as well. My wife and I decided that this is the best service we've received anywhere in quite a long time.

We have eaten in many of the finest restaurants in the country and parts of the world, but we found this experience most enjoyable and are looking forward to many more. Paul and Lois Cox Westlake Village
