Free concerts at Simi Town Center

The Simi Valley Town Center will present two nights of free, outdoor music concerts.

•The Southern California R&B and blues band Reno Jones will play at 6 p.m. Thurs., Aug. 28 at the mall, 1555 Simi Town Center Way in Simi Valley.

Reno Jones was an awardwinner at the Monterey Blues Festival and headliners at B.B. King's Bluesapalooza.

•Emmy Awardwinning flamenco-Spanish guitarist Benise will perform from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Fri., Aug 29 at the mall.

Benise received widespread acclaim as the creative force behind the "Nights of Fire" world music and dance production that aired on PBS.
