David Coppel joins City National

City National Bank announced recently that David Coppel has joined the firm as a senior vice president and private banking relationship manager in downtown Los Angeles.

Prior to joining City National, Coppel was a senior vice president with Bank of America in Westlake Village. From 1995 to 2001, he worked as a vice president for Wells Fargo Bank. He started his banking career in 1987 at Bank of America.

Coppel earned his undergraduate degree in business administration and finance from Long Island University and received a master's in business finance from California Lutheran University. He and his wife Shelley live in Oak Park with their two sons.
