Honor roll
•More than 1,900 additional winners of National Merit Scholarships have been announced by the National Merit Scholarship Corp., including Kevin Soter of Calabasas High School and Kim Young of Thousand Oaks High School.
Kevin will attend Northwestern University. Kim is going to USC.
About 7,500 high school seniors across the nation receive the scholarships.
The college-sponsored awards give the winners between $500 and $2,000 annually for up to four years of undergraduate study.
•Lena Urusova of Agoura Hills was named to the dean's list of Marist College in Pougheepsie, N.Y. for the spring 2008 semester. Ususova is majoring in communications and public relations.
•Katherine Marie Gray of Oak Park graduated with a bachelor's degree, cum laude, from Harvard College in June. She was one of 1,675 undergraduates.
Gray majored in English. Her extracurricular activities included writer and executive editor for The Harvard Crimson, and coxswain and rower for intramural crew.
She is the daughter of Barbara Gray and Thomas Gray.
