Wolfgang Puck comes to the Conejo Valley
      Renowned chef Wolfgang Puck opened a new restaurant July 14 in Westlake Village. Wolfgang Puck L.A. Bistro is at 30990 Russell Ranch Road West, next to Dakota Steakhouse. The Austrianborn chef began his formal culinary training at age 14 and now oversees an empire of fine dining and casual restaurants, catering services and licensed products.

Chorale appoints new artistic director
      Los Robles Master Chorale, a nonprofit performing arts group, has appointed Lesley Leighton as its new artistic director. Leighton will assume the position in September when the chorale begins its 31st season. Leighton is a doctoral student in choral conducting at USC and has a Masters of Music in vocal performance from USC.
