Westlake Village advisory board seeks applicants

The city of Westlake Village is seeking applications from city residents interested in serving on the city's Cultural Recreation Advisory Board. The board consists of 10 adults and one youth member, and usually meets every other month at 7 p.m.

The board was established in 2003 to advise City Council on cultural, recreational and special events, parks, and the operation of recreational facilities either owned by the city or operated through a use agreement.

Application deadline is 5 p.m. Fri., Aug. 29.
