Quakes win division- playoffs next

With a 2-1 home win over the Fresno Fuego at Calabasas High on Sunday, the San Fernando Valley Quakes captured the United Soccer League's Premier Development Southwest Division championship.

The division title is the first in the franchise's three-year history.

In the last 12 games, the Quakes are undefeated, going 7-0-5 with wins in their final four regular-season contests.

San Fernando, which hasn't lost since May 23, will travel to Fresno on July 26 for the Western Conference playoffs.

The Quakes' first game will be against the Vancouver Whitecaps Residency. Game time is set for 4:30 p.m.
