Westlake pathways are lacking

We are lucky to live in a city where resources are allocated to its continued beautification; however, it seems like a misstep to repave and make the road dividers more attractive once again when we still do not have adequate sidewalks or bike paths.

Where are they? Why hasn't the city taken this need seriously? It is dangerous to walk and bike on city streets with the ever increasing traffic. What is the holdup on sidewalk construction?

I bet if you took a poll among city residents they would vote hands down for city sidewalks and bike paths over oily, slurrified streets.
