Highway Patrol will teach safety for teen drivers

The California Highway Patrol will hold a "Start Smart" program for teen drivers and their parents at 6:30 p.m. tonight, Thurs., July 24, at the Ventura CHP office, 4656 Valentine Road, Ventura.

The program addresses traffic safety issues that affect new drivers, including collision avoidance techniques, collision causing elements, driver responsibilities and local area traffic collision trends.
