Wildlife center gathers for 10th anniversary

California Wildlife Center will celebrate its 10th anniversary with a "Way Wild" fundraiser Sun., Aug. 10 at Gull's Way Estate in Malibu.

The fundraiser will include wine tasting, cuisine from top chefs and Malibu restaurants, children's activities, intuitive readings and healing sessions, and silent and live auctions.

Entertainment will be provided by Elettra Blu, Maureena and the Maniac Cadillac Band, and Music Entertainment Services.

Tickets must be purchased in advance. Cost is $110 for adults, $40 for children ages 11 to 16. Children 10 and under are free.

California Wildlife Center is a nonprofit organization that provides medical care and rehabilitation for sick, injured and orphaned native wildlife with the intent of releasing them back into the wild.
